Our work with Elite Body Sculpture envisions a luxury medical office situated at the entrance of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Our approach involved a full evaluation of the client's design guidelines, previously employed across various locations nationwide. The primary goal was to align the office with the company's brand identity while infusing it with the distinctive essence of Salt Lake City.

Upon closer examination, we discovered that the original design standards had become outdated and inefficient. As we revisited these standards, we identified many opportunities for improving efficiency, safety, and design across all their locations throughout the country.

Designing a medical office demands attention to detail. Every aspect, no matter how obscure, must be carefully considered to ensure that it can withstand the challenging conditions of medical procedures. Striking the right balance between functionality and aesthetics is a significant challenge. To create an elegant ambiance, our design team had to become adept at finding this equilibrium.

The office’s color palette played a major role in achieving the high-end looked were aiming for. Cool-toned greys and marbled textures form the foundation for floors, walls, and other prominent surfaces, and we introduced depth through the use of high contrast black and white elements. Distinctive lighting fixtures diffuse warm and inviting light throughout the waiting areas and office spaces.

When selecting furniture, we began with the essential functional equipment required for the clinic. Operating tables and workstations were chosen in the same cool-toned greys that characterize the office's aesthetic. For all other furniture, we sought pieces that that would embody peak design while maintaining a touch of comfort. 

Armed with the priorities we identified in this project, we now apply them to new Elite Body Sculpture locations nationwide as part of our ongoing collaboration with the company. We provide a thoughtful and efficient set of design standards capable of adapting to unique locations and tight project timelines.
